Youth Mentoring

Mentoring is the single most effective way to positively impact a child’s life. By mentoring youth through The Bridge Mentor Program, you will create a safe, trusting relationship that in turn helps build upon the child’s social, academic, and overall life skills.

Studies show mentoring promotes: increased school attendance | healthy decision-making | skill development | increased participation in sports or extracurricular activities | community volunteering | better social skills | increased likelihood of enrolling in a college or university | increased success in school and/or career.

The Youth Mentor Program at The Bridge pairs adult volunteer mentors with youth one-on-one and facilitates monthly activities for the larger group to enjoy together. The Bridge provides all the support you need to be a successful role model in a child’s life. Please join us if you can give two hours a week of your time. Children in the program are ages 11 and older (through high school).
