Pat has been a Youth Mentor with The Bridge for several years. Below, her mentee match Shen shares (in her own words) what their relationship meant to her:

 

I really enjoyed my time with Pat. Because we went to the library every week, I checked out a lot of books and read them, which is something I would never do otherwise. It also gave me another person to talk to, as well as made my Thursday something to look forward to.
