2008 Dinner Dance
Setting Sail The
Setting Sail Raffle is conducted by
The Bridge Youth & Family Services, Inc. ("The Bridge"), a
not-for-profit organization |

|
GRAND RAFFLE | |||||
|
1.
The purchase price of each raffle ticket is $25 each or 5 for $100. A
"purchase" shall not occur and be binding on The Bridge until funds
delivered for the same have cleared the bank. Checks or money orders
should be made payable to "The Bridge Youth & Family Services".
Payments are not tax deductible.
Payments may be mailed or made in person, with a registration form, at: | |||||

2. All monies received for tickets shall be considered a request for a raffle ticket until accepted by The Bridge as a “purchase.” All sales and purchases of raffle tickets shall be deemed made and effective only upon acceptance at the offices of The Bridge, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, IL, or at the Meadows Club, as defined in rule 7. | |||||

3. Completed requests must be in the possession of The Bridge (721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, IL 60067) by 3:00 p.m. on March 6, 2008, unless otherwise personally delivered to an authorized representative of The Bridge at the Meadows Club before the time of the drawing which will occur between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on March 8, 2008, in order to be eligible for 2008 Setting Sail Grand Raffle. | |||||

4. If an entrant's check or credit card charge is dishonored, the ticket
will be declared invalid, losing its place in line as a request pursuant to
Rule 2. All check or credit card charges found dishonored after the drawing
must be honored. A $20.00 charge will be assessed for non-sufficient funds
or stop payment checks. There shall be no refunds for any reason unless
specifically provided for in these rules.. | |||||

5. Purchasers of raffle tickets must be 18 years of age or older on or
before Saturday, March 8, 2008. | |||||
|
6. In addition to publication of the winner at the drawing ceremony, the
winner will be notified in writing, names of the winner will be posted at
The Bridge offices and will be posted on here on The Bridge website (www.bridgeyouth.org). | |||||
|
7. Winner will be determined by random drawing. The drawing will take place
between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on March 8, 2008, at The Bridge’s Setting
Sail Gala at the Meadows Club in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The winner need
not be present to win. The winner will be notified as provided in Rule 6. | |||||

8. Each raffle ticket purchased shall constitute an "entry" into the raffle,
and the person to whom the raffle ticket is registered shall be the
"entrant". More than one name may be stated on the ticket registration form,
however the ticket shall be registered to the first name listed, who shall
constitute the sole "entrant" for that ticket. The winning entrant shall be
the "winner" of the prize. Payment to or delivery of any prize will be made
to the "entrant." The entrant must supply his/her social security number if
he/she is a winner. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to allocate
a winning prize to other participants in case of a multiple entry
registration, and the winning entrant shall hold The Bridge harmless in case
of conflicting claims or disputes among multiple claimants. | |||||

9. The decision of The Bridge will be final and in its sole discretion in
all matters pertaining to this raffle. | |||||
|
10. The winner must contact James McLin at
McLin Tours and Travel (847-788-9022) within 14
days of the drawing, which will take place on March 8, 2008, to provide the
names of the two people who will be participating on the cruise. | |||||
